What you WILL find is a comfortable combination of the following:

• Antique pieces that are sturdy and functional
• Comfy and casual upholstery that is right at home with contemporary pieces such as an accent chair or floor lamp
• A combination of light and dark wood finishes that may include a distressed piece or two. And, wicker always has a place in Country Chic decor.

• Fabrics provide color and are generally soft and muted in shades of blue, green, rose and yellow. Bring in the surprise, though, with a brightly colored accent such as apple red or bright orange.
• Elements of stainless steel and iron are present, such as a table, chair or lamp base, kitchen appliances, bar stools, and more.
• Uniquely shaped accent pieces provide sophistication and an element of surprise. These could be flea market retro treasures, reproductions or simply a quirky element that you love, to complete the space.
• Curves and softness are present in the accent pieces, with elegant candlesticks, cushy area rugs and antique picture frames to name just a few.
• Window treatments are simple and functional, with a rolled roman shade or a simple cotton panel that softens the space but lets the light flow into the room.

The use of natural light combined with layers of fabrics and textures creates a casual and comfortable ambiance in your home.
