A Log Home Christmas!

by C. Randolph

We lived in a beautiful log home for five years, and the Christmas holidays were always a very special time in our household. Our Great Room was large - 24' x 40' with 12 ft. wall heights, log beams and a huge antler chandelier.

It was the perfect backdrop for a lodge style Christmas!

We put up an 8 foot Christmas tree the first two years we lived in our log home, and although it was very lovely, was dwarfed by the massive room. So we purchased a beautiful 12 ft. tall Christmas tree with an 8 ft. circumfrance...it was huge!

And, this tree was the type that you put together one branch at a time, so it was a two day project to get the tree up, lights on and all of the ornaments, etc. placed.

Here are some pictures of our log home at Christmas!
